PAYMENT TERMS

All sales are cash. We accept MasterCard, Visa, American Express, business and personal checks, or money orders.Please make checks or money orders payable to Marine Education Text­books.

SALES TAX

We must charge Louisiana customers a 4.00% state sales tax, unless you furnish a tax exemption certificate. If you live in Terre­bonne Parish, LA, we must charge an additional 5.00% tax unless you furnish a Parish exemption certificate.

RETURNS (Effective Oct. 1, 1999)

We will accept salable returns of current editions of books we publish only within 30 days from date of invoice.⁽¹⁾A copy of the original invoice must be included with the re­turn. Returns for credit after 30 days may be granted only after the item has been inspected by our office and checked to see if ma­terial is still current. We charge a 20% restocking fee for returned items. Single copies of other publisher's books are returnable within 10 days if in salable condition. Special order books are not return­able.
